The Health Center offers many treatments at a fraction of the cost of an Emergency Room visit. If you feel your emergency is not life-threatening and would like advice, call 541-346-2770. If the Health Center is closed when you call, press "1" and you will be directed to our 24-hour Nurse Advice Line.

After Hours Care Options
University Health Center Nurse Advice Line - Call 541-346-2770 / press "1" The University Health Center provides a medical advice line for registered University of Oregon students which is available at all times when the Health Center is closed. If you are experiencing a problem when the Health Center is closed please call 541-346-2770 and press "1" to connect with the Nurse Advice Line. The advice nurses will help you to assess your problem and offer advice on how best to meet your health care needs. Depending on the nature of your problem the nurse may recommend emergency care, calling the Health Center for an appointment the next day, or trying self-care options.
Please be aware that:
- You are responsible for all charges for health care services received outside the University Health Center.
- Information pertaining to your call to the Nurse Advice Line will be included as a part of your confidential medical record.
