• M.S.- Nursing- Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner-Columbia University
• M.P.H.- Health Policy/ Administration- Columbia University

Experience:

Before coming to the Student Health Center in 1993, I spent most of my career in health care administration and teaching in the university setting and in public health systems.

• Coordinator- Adult Health Clinics- Public Health Department, Birmingham, AL
• Assistant Dean- Columbia School of Nursing-NYC, NY
• Director and Instructor- Masters program Oncology Nursing- Columbia University
• Board Member- Health Promotion Disease Prevention- Institute of Medicine, Washington, D.C.
  • While with the Institute of Medicine, I had the opportunity to be involved with putting together the Public Health Policy document- Healthy People 2000- which are goals and objectives for the nation in the area of health promotion and disease prevention.

Personal:

Married- 2 children -1 dog (Abby)-great husband (Buz)- love to ski, cook, travel and excercise and be with family and friends.
