FPEP Services
What services are covered by FPEP?
FPEP provides FREE family planning services and supplies to both MEN and WOMEN. Services offered include:
For WOMEN:
- Annual women's exam combined with contraceptive management.
- Sexually transmitted infections screening combined with contraceptive management.
- Birth control (Oral Contraceptives, Depo Provera, Evra Patch, Diaphragm, Cervical Cap, IUD, Nuvaring, and non-prescription birth control (condoms, spermicides)
- Pregnancy tests
- Emergency Contraceptive Visit and Prescription
For MEN:
- Sexually transmitted infections screening combined with contraceptive management.
- Non-prescription birth control (condoms)
- Reproductive health patient education and counseling
What services are NOT covered by FPEP?
The FPEP program does not cover direct treatment services or medications for treating reproductive system infections.
- Non-symptomatic STI screening
- Treatment ONLY visits (Examples: Medication consult and prescription after positive STI diagnosis, wart treatment visit where diagnosis is already made)
- Medications/supplies related to treating infections
- Certain laboratory tests
