After completing my residency training, I worked for two years in a Community Health Center in the Central Valley of California. Most of our patients were migrant farm workers. I found it to be a very rewarding and challenging job.

I then moved to Chester, CA which is a small town in the Sierra's near Lassen National Park. My wife and I were in private practice together and we practiced all aspects of medicine from delivering babies to caring for adults of all ages.

We moved to Eugene in 1995 where I initially worked for PeaceHealth Medical Group for four years until I found a home here at the University Health Center. I love working with the students here at the university - they keep me young.

Personal interests: Spending time with my wife and our three daughters, music, sailing, cooking
