Flu Vaccine Update

It's not too late to get the flu vaccine - even in January! It's especially important for those who have chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes or asthma.

Flu Vaccine for Students:

Availability: Until we run out of vaccine

When:
Monday-Friday, Time: 9-1130AM & 1-4PM
University Health Center will be closed for winter break December 10, 2007 through January 6, 2008.

Where: Nurse Specialty Clinic or at your regularly scheduled appointment

Cost: $15 cash or can be billed to your student account


Flu Vaccine for Faculty/Staff:

Availability: Until we run out of vaccine or January 31st, 2008

When: Wed, Thurs, & Fri mornings from 8-9AM. UHC will be closed for winter break December 10, 2007 through January 6, 2008

Who: Faculty/Staff Flu Clinics are for UO employees, UO retirees, domestic partners, and their eligible dependents, age 13 and over.

Where: Nurse Specialty Clinic of the University Health Center

Participants, please note:

  • Bring UO ID Card & Blue Cross Insurance Card or Cash/Check
  • There is no charge for vaccine if you have Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon insurance and present your BCBSO insurance card.
  • If no insurance, the charge is $30 CASH or CHECK
    (we cannot accept credit cards)
  • UHC IS NOT A MEDICARE PROVIDER

Lane County Public Health

Beginning December 3rd Lane County Public Health will begin flu shots on a walk-in basis. Be sure to take your Medicare card if you have one. The University Health Center is not a Medicare provider.
