CNN Reports on Computer Keyboard Bacteria - April 11, 2005

A study at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago showed that harmful bacteria could live on computer keyboards and mice up to 24 hours, much longer than previously suspected.

After five+ weeks of climbing stairs, our elevator is now back in service. Thanks to the Northwest Elevator Repair folks from all disabled users, the vending machine delivery guy, the custodians, the recyclers, the technology folks, and everyone else who has been lugging heavy loads up and down this month.

(We probably all needed the exercise, but not while carrying printers, cleaning equipment, or boxes of testing marterials.)
