Norovirus Alert on Campus
Norovirus is the most common cause of gastroenteritis, an infection of the intestines. Norovirus cases have been confirmed in the UO community. The severity can range from a mild stomach upset for a day or two with mild diarrhea, to severe diarrhea and vomiting for several days or longer. Norovirus is easily spread from one person to another by close contact.
